Guyana 50th Republic Anniversary Award
On Sunday, December 27, 2020, Canada-Guyana Outreach Mission (CanGO) was presented with an award in recognition of its valuable contributions in philanthropy at “A Virtual Guyanese Republic Golden Jubilee Awards Ceremony and Cultural Evening” under the auspices of the Consulate General of Guyana in Toronto.
CanGO's President, Mrs. Yvonne Triesman, who attended the virtual ceremony, accepted the award on behalf of CanGO, and thanked the Consulate General and the Guyana 50th Republic Anniversary Celebration Committee for the acknowledgement of CanGO’s work in Guyana throughout the years.

2017 Guyana Cultural Association Award
On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, the Canada-Guyana Outreach Mission was honoured to receive the 2017 Guyana Cultural Association Award for exemplary community service in Guyana. This award was presented to President Yvonne Triesman at the 2017 Guyana Association Folk Festival Award ceremony in Brooklyn, New York.
